India Overtakes Spain in Corona Cases, Becomes Fifth Largest in the World
On Saturday with more than 10,000 fresh cases of COVID-19, India overtook Spain and became the fifth largest in the world. The death toll has reached 297 while the total cases in India has now reached 2,46,549. Talking about Spain, the country has reached a count of 2, 41,310. Till now, the countries that are ahead of India are the US (19,06,060 cases), Brazil (6,14,941), Russia (4,58,102) and the UK (2,86,294).

Russia Oil Spill: U.S. to help in cleaning huge Arctic Circle fuel spill
Amid the corona crisis across the globe, Russia is fighting with the ecological catastrophe due to the huge oil spill. As per reports, the spill — deemed the worst ecological catastrophe of the sort to ever hit the region — Colorado remote tundra waterways with bright red patches visible from space. According to recent update, the United States on Saturday offered to help Russia clean up a vast fuel spill that has fouled an Arctic river in northern Siberia. Russian officials are scrambling to clean up an oil spill in a region in northern Siberia, after an oil leak that began at the end of May was found to have released over 21,000 tons of diesel into the Arctic Ocean.

High blood pressure Patients has the Highest Risk for Covid-19 Death; Says Study
One recent study has revealed a shocking report that patients with higher blood pressure face twice as high a risk of dying from the Covid-19 compared to patients without high blood pressure. The research was published in the European Heart Journal on Friday. As per reports, Researchers in China and Ireland analysed data from over 2,800 Covid-19 patients admitted between February 5 and March 15 to Wuhan’s Huo Shen Shan Hospital, which is exclusive to Covid patients. Of these patients, 29.5% (850) had a medical history of high blood pressure (hypertension).

Kejriwal Orders Delhi Govt & Private Hospital to Treat only Patients from National Capital
Amid the rising covid-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has directed all its private and government hospitals to treat only Delhi Resident patients. Concerning over the shortage of beds in the hospitals, Kejriwal said that the health facilities run by Delhi government should only be only be available to those who live in Delhi and patients from across the country should allowed to get treatment in hospitals run by the Centre. As per reports, Delhi has crossed the parameter of 26,000 on Saturday.

Gold Discounts to Be the Highest in 2 months
Gold discounts offered by dealers has risen to the highest in about two months. The discounts on gold in India rise up to $32 an ounce over official prices that include a 12.5% import duty and 3% GST. According to the sources, physical demand was weak even though jewellers reopened stores in some parts of the country this week while import of gold in May took a 99% hike in May from a year earlier.
