IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall In These States
The India Meteorological Department has predicted withdrawal of a southwest monsoon from some parts of the northwest India will commence from 6th October (Wednesday). A cyclonic circulation lives over the Southwest Bay of Bengal & the neighborhood extending up to middle tropospheric levels tilting the southwards with height. A trough in the easterlies runs from above the cyclonic circulation to the south Kerala in lower tropospheric levels. Also on 5th October (Tuesday), heavy to very heavy rains is likely at the isolated places over South Interior, Kerala, Karnataka & Mahe and Tamil Nadu, Karaikal & Puducherry & heavy rainfall at the isolated places over Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, south Assam, and south Konkan & Goa & Meghalaya.
