7.5 crore Corona doses administered
Over 7.5 crore Corona Vaccines doses have been administered to patients or people most likely to get affected by the disease in India. Lakhs of vaccines are being administered everyday all across India. Most of the vaccinations have taken place in Maharashtra followed by Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

Elections and Corona Virus
To guard against Corona Virus Government and Medical experts have recommended masks, social distancing and sanitizing yourself after physical contact. State election in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu are ongoing or will take place soon. Rallies, meetings are being held all across these states with huge crowd gatherings. Some politicians are addressing the crowds or media channels without mask. These methods may lead to greater spread of the virus and the very individuals who are to lead by example are not looking after the health of the general public.

Indian government has told its oil producers to increase production and develop alternatives so that country doesn't need to import oil from Overseas. This dependence gives the foreign countries political and economic leverage in the country.

A phosphorus plant is leaking and polluting the fresh water of parts of the Manatee county in Florida. This has forced the local authorities to order evacuation of all nearby residents.

Rakesh Tikait is on tour of Gujarat after having held a number of rallies and discussions in Rajasthan. Although their cars were attacked in Rajasthan, the farmers leaders want to follow non-violent means and visited Gandhi Ashram in Sabarmati.

Developer of new Mango tree variety doing good business
Shrikishan Suman, from Rajasthan developed a new variety of Mango tree that bears fruits all year round. His work was evaluated by ICAR and he has received a number of awards. In last 3-4 years he has received a number of orders from India and abroad with the publicity that he has received for his work. He has supplied the saplings to farmers all over India and has planted these trees in a number of Krishi Vigyan Kendra's across Rajasthan.

Work on Spices Blockchain to be completed before May End
A Spices Blockchain is being developed by Spices Board India and UNDP, following orders from the Central government. This Blockchain will help in locating all shipments from production till delivery to customers. There will be information available about the shipments at each stage of the Blockchain. India exported over USD 3 billion worth of spices last year.
