High risk States again report increase in COVID cases
Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Karnataka have registered 17,407 new cases in last 24 hours. These high risk States account for more than 85 percent of the total cases in India.

5 accused of Republic Ray violence granted bail by Delhi Court
5 protesters accused of violence at the Red Fort on Republic Day have been granted bail by Delhi Court. They are not expected to repeat the offence and The Court refused to keep them in the custody simply because they may commit the crime again. Further there is no evidence of their current crimes apart from being arrested at the scene.

99th Day of farmers protest
Tomorrow will be 100th day of farmers protests which have resulted in blocked traffic of vehicles and trains, affecting mostly Delhi and adjoining states. The real aim of the protests which has stayed same throughout the protests was repealing the three new farm laws which they believe will hurt their incomes and request for MSP on more food items which will improve their income. Despite all the efforts by these thousands of farmers the central government is unimpressed.
