  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rains in these Regions

    The India Meteorological Department predicted scattered to fairly widespread rainfall along with isolated heavy falls over Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh & Northwest Rajasthan on 4th & 5th September 2021. Also, because of heavy rains in the National Capital since Tuesday morning, there was water logging in several parts of the city, because of this vehicular movement was also got affected.

  • Governor of Himachal calls for the Natural Farming

    Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said that natural farming has not only helped in increasing the fertility of land but it also paid good returns to the farmers. He said that the results of natural farming are seen on the ground & benefits are now becoming evident to the farmers. He also said that about 1.30 lakh farmers are associated with the practice.

    Jayalakshmi, A 10th Standard student in the southern state has gifted a guava sapling to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his recent meeting in New Delhi. After accepting the gift by an aspiring girl farmer, the Actor-turned-BJP MP, Suresh Gopi has tweeted that “Nurtured by a thoughtful young girl in a courtyard of Kulanada, it is all set to bloom in the residence of Indian Prime Minister”.

    On 3rd September (Friday), Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd reinterred the commitment to invest Rs 75,000 crore over the next 3 years in the Green Energy initiatives, including the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex in the Jamnagar, as the global energy behemoth shifts its focus from the hydrocarbons to renewable power.

  • Piyush Goyal says Textile Exports to be Scaled-up three-fold to $100bn

    On 3rd September (Friday) Piyush Goyal, the Trade & Textile Minister said that India’s textiles exports should be scaled up threefold to $100 billion at the earliest, he has been in talks with the states to facilitate land, power & other utilities for the business to set up mega textile parks.
