Launching into the new year with a forward-looking agenda, Uttar Pradesh gears up to initiate the digital survey of Rabi crops as part of the Agri Stack project from January 1, 2024. This groundbreaking survey follows the earlier assessment of the Kharif 2023 crops in the state, aiming to revolutionize policy-making for farmers and streamline crop insurance disbursements. Dr. Raj Shekhar, Agriculture Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, highlighted that the survey for Rabi 2023-24 will span from January 1 to February 15, employing a geo-referenced investigation conducted via a dedicated mobile app.
