  • Over 6 Crore COVID vaccines administered in India

    India has achieved the milestone of 6 Crore in the number of total doses of COVID administered to the suffering, frontline workers and those most likely to be infected with the virus. More than 24 crore Indians have been tested for Corona with positive cases staying below 5 percent of the total tested citizens.

  • Water taps for 100 percent of rural areas

    Government schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission and Har Ghar Jal have succeeded so far in providing tap water to almost 33 percent of all rural households. These schemes are still being worked on so that in next few years 100 percent of the rural households will have running tap water.

  • Heavy rainfall over North East to continue for 2 more days

    North East has been suffering from heavy rainfall since yesterday and this rainfall is expected to continue till 1st April. Strong low winds from Bay of Bengal are responsible for this rainfall.

  • Crops production to boost in Eastern Australia

    Eastern Australia is expecting more heavy rainfall which has caused floods even in residential areas. This excessive rain is expected to put moisture back into the soil hence improving its fertility which in turn will mean greater production of crops like paddy.

  • Farmers welcome to talk anytime with Government

    Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar has commented that the end of this stalemate between, the Government and the farmers, depends on the farmers. These farmers are welcome to discuss any issues with the Government anytime they want. The protesting farmers having celebrated holi while protesting, are yet to respond.

  • India will not be able to commit to Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions

    India with its growing population and with it rising demand for energy is not able to commit to Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2050. Instead it is willing to follow the Paris agreement which binds it to reduce its pollution activities by a third till 2030. India will be making an effort but how much it succeeds only time will tell.

  • Suez Canal cleared for passage

    The cargo ship that had tilted and blocked the waterway through Suez Canal has been straightened and is being towed away. More than 400 ships had collected on both sides of the Suez Canal, during this recovery period and are now on their way to their destinations.

  • India keeps Indian vaccines for itself on priority

    Indian firms had contracts with a large number of Asian and European Countries for delivery of vaccines. However delivery of these orders is being delayed as the Indian government has blocked these and asked these firms to supply these vaccines for use in India, on priority.

  • BJP under pressure in Punjab

    BJP as a party is under pressure in Punjab. The protesting farmers are blaming BJP for the condition they are in and Congress, the party in power in Punjab, is with them. A BJP MLA from Punjab was even assaulted by supporters of farmers and a case has been filed.
