  • PM Modi To Release PM Kisan-10th Installment On Jan 1

    On January 1, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give the tenth tranche of financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. The scheme aims to empower farmers at the grassroots level by facilitating the transfer of 20,000 crores to over 10 crore beneficiary farmer families. A cash benefit of Rs.6000 per year is granted to eligible recipient farmer households under the PM-KISAN scheme, payable in three equal 4-monthly installments of Rs.2000 each. The funds are deposited immediately to the beneficiaries bank accounts.

     

  • FSSAI: 24% Edible Oil Samples Adulterated

    2.42 % of the 4,461 cooking oil samples examined by India's top food regulator, the Food Safety and Criteria Authority of India, or FSSAI, failed to meet safety standards, while 24.2 % failed to meet quality metrics, indicating likely adulteration of cooking oils on the market. During the 25-27 August 2020, the FSSAI performed a nationwide study on edible oils to analyze oil safety, quality and misbranding in cooking oils sold on the market. The goal of the poll was to determine the "ground realities" of oil safety, quality, and misbranding, according to the food safety regulator's conclusions released to the media on Wednesday.

     

  • UP Govt. Announces Hike In Part-Time Instructors’, Cooks’ Pay

    On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved a 2,000-per-month raise in the honoraria for part-time instructors and cooks in the Basic Education Department. The chief minister also declared that money for two sarees, one apron, and one head cap will be sent directly to the cooks' accounts.

  • PM Modi To Launch Multiple Projects In Uttarakhand

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for 23 projects totaling approximately Rs 17500 crore. The foundation stone will be placed for 17 of the 23 projects, totaling about Rs 14100 crore. Irrigation, roads, housing, health infrastructure, industry, sanitation, and drinking water supply are only a few of the sectors/areas covered by these projects. Six projects will be inaugurated during the program, including numerous road expansion projects, a hydropower plant in Pithoragarh, and sewerage network improvement projects in Nainital. The projects being launched have a total cost of about 3400 crores.
