IMD Predicts Heavy Rains From 30th Sep to 3rd Oct
On 29th September (Wednesday), the India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains from 30th September to 3rd October. IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the north & adjoining the central Arabian Sea & along & off Gujarat & the north Maharashtra coast from 30th September till 2nd October in view of likely formation of a tropical cyclone over the northeast Arabian Sea. In the latest weather update, IMD predicted heavy falls at the isolated places over Bihar from 30th September (Thursday) to 3rs October.

Rates of Soybean to Crash in Two Days
After poor yield & low returns last year, the rates of soybean, the second major crop of the Vidarbha had touched the record high of over Rs 10,000. The farmers hoped to gain from the trend finally in Kharif Season. As the harvest season is around the corner now, so their hopes have also been shaken. In two days of trading, soybean prices have crashed to as low as Rs 4,00 quintal against Rs 10, 000 – Rs 9,000 quintal.

Special FD Scheme for Senior Citizen to Extend till March 2022
The Special Fixed Deposit Scheme of the State Bank of India for senior citizens has been extended again. Last year in May 2020, the top lender of the country has announced SBI “WECARE” Senior Citizens Term Deposit Scheme for the senior citizen initially till September 2020. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the special FD scheme has been extended many times & the bank further extended it to March-end next year.
