  • These States Likely To Receive Rainfall in the Next 24 Hours

In these states, light to moderate rainfall is expected, with isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorm. The forecast also predicts heavy rain in the north interior of Odisha over the next twenty-four hours. In the next 48 hours, East and Northeast India will likely have rain, with dry weather returning after that.

  • Jharkhand Government Gives Concession of Rs 25 litre Petrol

    According to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the Jharkhand government has agreed to provide motorbike and scooter riders a 25 per litre petrol discount.     The Union Coal Ministry intends to raise washed coking coal supplies to the steel industry from 3 million tonne (mt) to 15 million tonne (mt). "The Coal Ministry is giving the steel industry a boost, with plans to increase the supply of washed coking coal to the steel industry from 3 to 15 million tonnes. Two coking coal washeries have been commissioned, with three more under construction, according to a tweet from the coal ministry on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked international companies to develop their manufacturing in India by making use of the 1.97 trillion PLI program for 13 sectors, including specialty steel. This is against a backdrop of strong steel demand and high costs.
