  • Normal Monsoon will Limit Tractor Volume fall in FY21

    Crisil, ratings agency is expecting a well-distributed and a normal monsoon to limit the impact of the Coronavirus on tractor sales volume this financial year. As per the rating agency, despite a 37% year-on-year decline in the month of April & May combined, tractor volume would likely be only 1% below last fiscal's level.

    The agency in a statement said, "Lower raw material costs & strong balance sheets bode stable credit outlook for tractor makers this fiscal".  

  • Ruchi Soya Closes at All-time High of Rs 1,507.30 a Scrip

    FMCG major, Ruchi Soya Industries that went through an insolvency resolution process and was purchased by Patanjali Ayurved, has seen a dream run in the stock market since its relisting in the beginning of this year (January). The company’s shares have surged a whopping 8,800% in the past 5 months. On 27th January, the day it was relisted it closed at Rs 16.90 & on Friday (26th June) it closed at its all-time high of Rs 1,507.30 a scrip.

  • Delhi government plans to start 'Plasma Bank' for covid-19 patients 

    Delhi government has decided to start 'Plasma Bank' for treating covid-19 patients, said Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today. The Plasma Bank will begin operation in the next two days. It will be set-up at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Delhi. Kejriwal said, "I appeal to COVID-19 recovered patients to donate their plasma. Anyone who needs plasma will need a recommendation from a doctor." He added, Delhi government has so far conducted a clinical trial of plasma therapy on 29 COVID-19 patients and the results were good. 

  • Coronavirus Lockdown to Continue in Maharashtra: Uddhav Thackeray

    Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray yesterday (28th June 2020) said the lockdown will not be lifted after 30th June but there would be limited relaxations. Thackeray said the State might see increase in the number of Covid-19 patients in the days to come. He added that re-imposing lockdown or allowing more relaxations will squarely depend on the people as discipline has to be followed.

    It must be noted that Maharashtra is one of the worst affected states in India due to Covid-19 with more than 1.59 lakh cases.

  • NASA has developed a special perfume 

    Wondered how space smells like? Well now, there's a new perfume developed by NASA that can give you a good idea. Called as the 'Eau de Space', the perfume brings the smell of space to Earth. But, it was created to help astronauts prepare for body odour while in space. The perfume was developed by Steve Pearce, a chemist, and founder of Omega Ingredients. 

  • New One Plus TV series to include 3 models in India  

    OnePlus is all ready to bring a new TV series which will be much affordable and smarter. The company has also confirmed that the launch will be on July 2 and the price of the TVs will begin at Rs 1X,999 and go up to Rs 4X,999 in India. However, OnePlus hasn't yet revealed the screen sizes, the tweet by the company mentions that there will be three models at different price ranges. Preliminary leaks had hinted that there might be a 32-inch HD TV, a 43-inch full-HD TV and 55-inch variant, the 32-inch being the most affordable and 55-inch the most expensive model.
