Farmers seek full compensation before giving possession of land for Noida airport
Farmers, whose land is reserved for the Noida International Greenfield Airport at Jewar (UP), along the Yamuna Expressway, are asking for the complete land compensation amount before giving possession of their land for the project. They told that they will not give the possession of their land if the administration of Gautam Budh Nagar does not look into their demands related with land compensation.

India receives highest rainfall in August 2020, sets new record after 44 years: IMD
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that India has received the highest amount of rainfall in August this year since 1976, which is 25% more than the average, after recording 10% less shower than the average in the month of July, hence setting a new record after 44 years. IMD added that the monsoon may slow down gradually in September.
