  • Monsoons to start over Kerala by May end

    Southwest Monsoon are fast approaching India and favorable conditions for monsoon suggest their onset in Kerala by the end of this month.

  • Virtual Trade fair organized by APEDA

    APEDA has organized an online trade fair for horticulture. This fair started yesterday and will continue till 29th of May. Indian varieties of flowers, fruits and veggies are on display here with over 470 exhibitors. Visitors from all over the world are participating in the fair.

  • Water logged areas of Odisha covered by Navy relief operations

    Navy has been actively helping the water logged areas of Odisha. All government departments of the region were on alert for the incoming cyclone, hence help was immediately given to the distressed regions of the state.

  • Poorer countries hit hardest by Corona

    There are more cases of Corona in poorer countries than in affluent countries as the basics for guarding against Corona are not followed. These people have to look for work as there is no social security, and hence have to go out of the house. Apart from this, appropriate healthcare facilities are not available to these persons.

    Indian government has asked social media sites to remove the term "Indian variant" from their content as it’s a misleading and the government has claimed these reports about the variant are false as the WHO has not assigned this variant to any particular country.

    American cannabis producer HEXO is expanding into Canada with the purchase of Redecan for almost USD 765 million. They now have access to the Canadian market of pot smokers.
