IMD issues Yellow & Orange Alert in these Districts
The India Meteorological Department has issued Yellow & Orange alerts for several districts in Kerala for 28th & 29thAugust. The weather department has issued orange alerts in 9 districts in the southern state and has predicted extremely bad weather conditions. IMD issued orange alert in Thrissur, Ernakulam, Malappuram, Idukki, Kozhikode, Kannur, Wayanad & Kasargod districts of Kerala & Yellow alert has been issued for the rest of the districts.

Government of Karnataka to Set up Spices Park
The state government has decided to set up the spices park in the Chikkamagaluru district. Murugesh R Nirani said that the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board will develop the facility on 10 acre plot at the earliest. The decision of government followed a meeting between the Nirani & Union Minister of State for the Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shobha Karandlaje in the Bangalore on 27th August (Friday). The Union Minister has requested Nirani to set up the spices park in her district to promote the agricultural export.

TN Government to Pass Resolution against 3 Farm Laws
The government of Tamil Nadu has become the seventh state in the country to pass the resolution against the three farm laws passed by the Union Government on 28th august (Saturday). The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has introduced resolution opposing farms laws and stated that today is an important day in Tamil Nadu’s History as the resolution will be passed to save the people & the state.

PM Modi Inaugurates Renovated Complex of Jallianwala Bagh Smarak
On 28th August (Saturday) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while stating that India won’t forget the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh incident, PM Modi announced that he will be inaugurating the renovated complex of the Jallianwala Bagh Smarak today evening at 6.25 pm Sharp. This program will be held to interest the people and it will be dedicated to the nation.

Two Important National Highways (NHs) are blocked due to Heavy Rains
The hilly state in the Northern India continues to bear brunt of heavy rainfalls & the landslides across the state. The extreme weather conditions have almost broken the connectivity in the state as it’s two most important National Highways (NH) 94 & NH 58 in the Tehri Garhwal district were blocked due to the heavy boulders & rubbles following the heavy rains.
