  • Tractor burnt at India Gate in Protest against Farm Bills

    A tractor has been set on fire near India Gate in Delhi today morning in protests against the controversial farm bills. The police and fire department immediately came at the spot and put off the fire. On the other hand, President Ram Nath Kovind yesterday gave assent to the 3 agriculture bills passed in parliament last week, that have triggered farmers' protest especially in Haryana and Punjab.

    With heavy rainfall for the past few days, Northeast state of Assam is witnessing its third wave of flood this year amid Covid-19 pandemic. Almost 2.25 lakh people in 9 districts are affected, with more than 1.50 lakh people affected in Kampur circle in Nagaon. In addition, the Brahmaputra river is also flowing above the danger mark at Neamatighat in Jorhat district & Tezpur in Sonitpur.
