  • Railway coaches turned into makeshift medical units

    4,000 railway coaches have been turned into makeshift medical units as Corona cases rise. Almost 64,000 more beds are now available for Corona patients all across India. Some districts are requesting for such Covid Coaches to be provided to them.

  • Assam hit by another earthquake

    After the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that hit Assam and few other North-Eastern states earlier today, another earthquake of magnitude 3.2 has hit Assam. The damage caused by these series of earthquake is being well covered by the general public through social media.

  • National Agriculture Infra Financing Facility

    National Agriculture Infra Financing Facility, has a total of 1,00,000 Crore available for farmers, FPOs and other organizations to apply for. Those applying will have to detail their projects, which will help in improving the infrastructure for farmers.

  • Some parts of Maharashtra on alert for heavy rainfall and thunderstorm

    Kolhapur, Latur, Osmanabad, Solapur, Satara, Sangli and some nearby districts in Maharashtra are on alert for heavy rainfall and thunderstorm.

  • Government of India has distributed almost 16 crore vaccines to the states

    States have been supplied with almost 16 crore vaccines by the Union Government, free of cost. Most of these have been administered, however the states still have more than a crore vaccines left with them. The Union Government has 57 Lakh more vaccines which it plans to supply to these states in next few days.

  • Indian railways deliver 510 MT of Oxygen to states short of supply

    Indian railways have delivered about 510 Metric Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to Delhi, UP, MP and Maharashtra. Other states in need will be supplied the LMO on request. A number of fertilizer producing companies after talks with Union ministers have agreed to make efforts to supply LMO to hospitals. Their combined effort is expected to fetch 50 MT of LMO every day.

  • Farmers in USA given credit points for Pollution controlling projects

    Farmers can limit the carbon foot print by planting trees which will eat up the Carbon dioxide. The other way to control pollution is to go solar. They will be given credits for these pollution controlling activities. Big companies buy these credits from the farmers to show their contribution in controlling pollution.

  • Malaysian exports keep increasing

    Malaysia has exported 31 percent more in terms of value this March than what it exported in March 2020. It is also importing more but the country has a surplus of Ringgit 24.2 billion.

  • Australia to vaccinate its athletes for Olympics

    Australia will vaccinate all of its athletes who will be attending the Olympics to be held in Tokyo in July.
