  • IMD Predicts Heavy Falls Along with Thunderstorms in These States

    The India Meteorological Department has predicted a heavy to very rains with extremely heavy falls are likely at the isolated places over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, South Chhattisgarh, Mahe & Telangana. Heavy to very rains at the isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra Konkan & Goa, North Interior Karnataka & Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal. Thunderstorm along with lightning & the gusty winds are likely at the isolated places over Vidarbha, Marathawada & Chhattisgarh.

  • Tea Research Institute to Sign MoU with Patanjali Ayurveda

    The Tea Research Institute will be soon signing an MoU with Patanjali, to collaborate on advanced research to extract the several chemical compounds from the tea leaves & seeds to be used in medicine, cosmetics & wellness products. The MD of Patanjali Ayurveda stated that the Patanjali will work with the Industries & Commerce Department to promote the medicinal plantation in Assam & buyback from the farmers for their products have manufactured in Sonitpur & Haridwar.

  • Third Hike in Petrol Price in the National Capital

    On 27th September (Monday), there was a third hike in the rates after state-owned oil firms ended the three-week hiatus in the rates following international oil prices surging to the highest since 2018. Though the petrol prices have remained unchanged across the metros. The price of diesel has hiked to Rs 89.32 per liter in the national capital, whereas the petrol cost is Rs 101.19 liter.
