• GADVASU Concludes Pashu Palan Mela with A Message for Scientific Livestock Rearing

  Two days Pashu Palan Mela of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana concluded with a message to achieve prosperity and health through better livestock production on 24 September 2022. Dr. Sukhpal Singh, Chairman, Punjab State farmers, and farmer workers Commission was the guest of honor on the second day.

• Lumpy Skin Disease: Uttar Pradesh Bans Cattle Trade with These States

  India's cattle population is still suffering from Lumpy Skin Disease, which has a mortality rate touching 70,000 now. In order to prevent the disease from spreading, the Uttar Pradesh government decided to ban the trade of cattle with four neighbouring states and impose a "lockdown" on the movement of animals inside the state from 28 districts.

• PM Modi To Launch 5G Services in India Next Month

  The National Broadband Mission on Saturday posted on Twitter that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G services in India at the India Mobile Congress on October 1. Next month, the prime minister will officially kick off the four-day event, during which leading telecom providers like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea will discuss their 5G plans for the nation and a wide range of other participants, such as gear manufacturers, tower providers, and ecosystem players, will present their 5G technologies and use cases.

• PM Kisan Big Update! Government to Release 12th Installment During Navratri

  PM Kisan Yojana Latest Update: The 12th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be transferred to the farmers’ accounts very soon. As per media reports, the amount will be released during the Navratri festival. Reports also said that this year the payment got delayed due to proper verification of the land papers and other details of the beneficiaries. It is important to mention that in the past few months, the government had identified lakhs of ineligible farmers from different states taking benefit of the scheme by submitting fake documents. Hence this time the government has been extra cautious while verifying the details of farmers.
