  • West Bengal Government Further Extends Lockdown till 31st July

    Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee on 25th June 2020 announced the extension of the ongoing lockdown in the state till 31st July.  The current lockdown was supposed to conclude on 30th June. The State government took the decision after coronavirus cases crossed the 15,000-mark. The decision to further extend the lockdown was taken after an all-party assembly to discuss on the COVID-19 situation.

  • Ramdev ‘corona kit’: No Approval from Govt, Ayush Ordered Patanjali to stop Publicising Claims  

    Question emerges over Baba Ramdev’s Ayurvedic ‘Corona Kit’ that claims to cure COVID-19 which has bounded the government to release an order to Patanjali Ayurved Ltd to stop fake Publicising Claims. Moreover, the Uttarakhand government said its licensing authority did not grant any approval to the Corona Kit. Moreover, it had no knowledge of clinical trials at National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research which they have claimed, said Rajasthan government. 

  • CBSE Board Exam 2020 for Class 10, 12 Cancelled  

    CBSE has decided to cancel the Class 10, 12 Board exams 2020 which were scheduled from July 1 to July 15, 2020. Rather, the board would be assessing the students based on the scores of previous three exams & based on which it will declare the class 10, 12 results by July 15. However, CBSE Class 12 students will have an option to appear for the remaining papers later when the situation is conducive. But, there is no such option available for class 10 students. 

  • AHSEC Class 12th Result 2020 Announced; Results Available at These Websites

    Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or AHSEC has declared Assam Board class XII results at 9 am today. Students who have appeared for the exam can check their marks online from the official website - ahsec.nic.in. Students can also check their Assam Board class 12 Result 2020 at various websites like www.resultsassam.nic.in, www.asssamresult.in, www.newsnation.in,  www.schools9.com, www.newsstate.com, www.EduAssam.com, www.vidyavision.com, www.exametc.com and www.assamresult.co.in.  

    Pankaj Borthakur, controller of examinations, AHSEC said, “Students can get their results & mark sheets from these websites by entering their roll numbers”.

  • Coronavirus Live Updates, 25 June : Positive Cases to Touch 10 million within a week; Delhi Overtakes Mumbai 

    The national Capital overtakes Mumbai yesterday with 3,788 news cases which has risen the total cases to cross 70,000 parameter. As per reports, 2,365 has lost their lives so far while 64 fatalities reported in the past 24 hours in  

    “People must realize their responsibilities. We need their active participation to control the outbreak”, said health official. 

  • DU Admission 2020 Updates! Aspirants are Facing Troubles 

    Delhi University admission process has started for UG, PG Courses. The candidates who are looking for admission under categories like Other backward classes, OBC and Economically Weaker Sections, EWS are facing troubles with the process according to the latest updates. These candidates are not able to get their attested certificates verifying their eligibility for the seats under the above-mentioned categories. The candidates also informed that the government attested certificates which are issued on or after March 31, 2020, are compulsory to be produced to be guaranteed of admission under these categories.
