IMD Issues Yellow Alert For Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a yellow advisory for various Kerala districts, predicting heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning. According to the weather service, Kerala is expected to see extensive rain and thunderstorms till April 27.

Today's petrol and diesel prices in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Lucknow are as follows, on April 25, oil marketing companies (OMC) kept petrol prices steady for the 19th day in a row. After OMCs raised rates by Rs 10 per liter across major cities, prices remained stable for nearly three weeks.

On the occasion birth anniversary of MLA Pratap Sarnaik on Monday, April 25, Shiv Sena volunteers and supporters supplied petrol at a rate of Rs 1 per liter at Kailash Petrol Pump near Tatvagyan University, Ghodbundar Road in Thane. About 1000 motorists were given petrol at Rs 1 per liter, as part of Shiv Sena's symbolic protest against rising gas rates in the market.

An Outbreak of FMD in Stray Cattle Is Causing Concern Among Animal Lovers in Mysuru
Animal lovers are now concerned about the health of stray cattle that have been abandoned by their owners, as many of these animals have been diagnosed with Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), a highly contagious disease. They want the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) or the state animal husbandry department to treat the cattle as well as provide them with shelter and immunizations.

The Sale of Chemically Laced Fish Is On the Rise in Kerala
A large number of rotten and chemical-laced fish are being marketed in Kerala, posing a major threat to the population. Chemicals are used as preservatives since fish is transported in vehicles without a freezer. During inspections, food safety officials discovered over 1000 kg of stale and contaminated fish, which were destroyed.
