  • One Stop Centre for women

    Over 700 One Stop Centers have been setup across India in last 6 years. These provide immediate help to women in distress. These are setup only for women requiring immediate help and attention and have helped over 3 lakh women so far.

  • India on alert for cyclone "Yaas"

    Cyclone "Yaas" is expected to land in West Bengal and Norther Odisha by 26th of this month. It is expected to disrupt everyday activities and may even cause damage to life and property. Central government is checking the preparedness of the districts that will be affected by the cyclone.

  • India testing over 20 Lakh persons every day, sets another record

    Over 21.23 lakh persons were tested for Corona in India beating the previous record of 20.66 lakh tests set a day earlier, also conducted by India. The aid received by India from donor countries is being distributed across the states as per their requirements. 

  • Prakasam to see heavy rainfall

    Prakasam, a coastal district in Andhra Pradesh, is to see heavy rainfall with Lightening today.

  • 26th May will be the "black" day, say the protesting farmers

    It will be 6 months on the 26th of this month since the farmers started their protests. Although media has covered their every move, the government is not paying them much attention. To mark the completion of 6 months of their protests the farmers are planning to commemorate this day as "black day" all across the country.

  • FDI increase by 10 percent in 2020-2021

    Foreign Direct Investment in India has increased by 10 percent in 2020-2021. This rise is mainly accredited to "Computer Software and hardware".
