ICAR-IARI Announces Walk-In Interviews for Research and Project Associate Positions, Know the Details
The Division of Microbiology at the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is inviting eligible candidates to a walk-in interview for two temporary positions under a DBT-funded project. The project, titled "Development of engineered Azotobacter with superefficient biofertilizer activity," seeks to fill one Research Associate (RA) position and one Project Associate (PA) position.

Wheat Procurement Crosses Last Year’s Total Procurement Figure in RMS 2024-25
The procurement of wheat during the Rabi marketing season (RMS) 2024-25 is progressing seamlessly in the major procuring states across India. As of now, 262.48 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of wheat have been procured for the Central Pool, exceeding the previous year's total procurement of 262.02 LMT, according to the Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution Ministry.

Bayer CropScience on Wednesday announced its results for the financial year (FY) and quarter ended March 31, 2024. In FY 2023-24, the Company’s Revenue from Operations remained flat at Rs 51,032 million, compared to Rs 51,397 million in the previous year. Profit Before Exceptional Items & Tax stood at Rs 9,414 million, compared to Rs 8,863 million in the previous year, representing an increase of 6%.

DD Kisan, the TV channel dedicated to India's farmers, is set to undergo a groundbreaking transformation. On May 26, 2024, the channel will introduce a new look and style, marking another significant milestone in its nine-year journey of success. The highlight of this revamp is the launch of two AI anchors, AI Krish and AI Bhoomi, making DD Kisan the first government TV channel in India to integrate artificial intelligence into its broadcasting team.
