  • IMD: These States Likely To Receive Rainfall & Thunderstorms

    The India Metrological Department issued a fresh weather warning for the weekend. According to the IMD, the national capital, Rajasthan and Chandigarh might receive hailstorms & scattered rainfall during 23rd & 24th October. The senior scientist of IMD said that the national capital will be witnessing cloudy skies due to the western disturbance. Besides, Uttarakhand & Himachal Pradesh would also witness a scattered rainfall, gusty winds moving at the speed of 30 to 40 kmph & thunderstorms on Saturday & Sunday.

  • Another Hike In Petrol & Diesel

    The price of Petrol & Diesel was hiked again on 23rd October (Saturday) by 35 paise per liter, making it a fourth straight hike in as many days. The latest hike has pushed the total rise in the petrol rates to Rs 36 per liter & on diesel to Rs 26.58 since early May 2020 when the taxes on two fuels were raised to record levels. The petrol price in Delhi is Rs 107.24 a liter & a diesel comes for Rs 95.97. In Mumbai, the petrol price is Rs 113.12 per liter & the price diesel would be sold at Rs 104 per liter.
