    On 22nd October (Friday) the India Meteorological Department have predicted heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms, gusty winds, and lightning over Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan & Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh & Punjab during 22nd – 24th October along with isolated heavy to very heavy rains & hailstorm on 23d October (Saturday).

  • Farmers Have Suspended Yogendra Yadav

    The Samyukt Kisan Morcha: A Conglomerate of 46 farmers unions has suspended the activist Yogendra Yadav for a month after he visited the family of a BJP worker who was killed in violence at Lakhimpur Kheri earlier this month. The member of the umbrella body, will not be able to participate in any of its meetings or be a part of the decision-making process.

     

  • Punjab Agriculture Minister Gives Rs 50 Lakhs To Victim of Lakhimpur Kheri

    The Agriculture Minister of Punjab Randeep Singh Nabha will give cheques as compensation to families of 4 farmers and one journalist who were killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri in Lucknow. On behalf of the Punjab Government, the minister will give the cheques for Rs 50 lakh each to the 5 families. 8 people including 4 farmers had been killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence recently.

  • Monsoon Likely To Withdraw In The Next Days

    On 21st October (Thursday)the data of the India Meteorological Department have shown that India received 41% more rainfall than the normal from 1st to 21st October with Uttarakhand alone recording more than 5 times its normal precipitation. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon withdrawal line continues to pass through Lat. 27. degree N/Long. 92.0 degree E Kohima, Krishnanagar, Silchar, Malkangiri, Baripada, Kohima, Bagalkode, Vengurla, Nalgoda Lat. 16.0 degree N/Long. 65.0 degree E & Lat. 16.0-degree N/Long. 60.0 degree E.
