  • Kerala Bans Fresh Food Packets Without Expiry Date

    The sale of food packages without slips or tags indicating the expiration date has been outlawed in Kerala by the state government. The ban was imposed on Saturday, January 21, by Health Minister Veena George in response to an increase in food poisoning cases in the state. As released in the press by the Kerala Government, food packaging without a slip or label containing a reminder about food hygiene and food safety shouldn't be marketed in the state. The sticker or label should contain the date and time when the meal was prepared as well as the recommended consumption window.a

    Droupadi Murmu, President of India will present the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 to eleven brilliant children during an award ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan tomorrow i.e. 23 January, 2023. On 24 January 2023, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will interact with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees. Later on the same day, Smriti Zubin Irani, Minister of Women & Child Development, will also interact with the children and praise them for their exemplary performances in their respective fields in the presence of Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai, Minister of State.

    Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, will travel to Bihar on February 22 to participate in the Swami Sahajanand Saraswati Jayanti Samaroh. Shah will meet with farmers from all around the state at a gathering to be held at Babu Auditorium, according to BJP MP from Bihar, Vivek Thakur, who is also the convenor of the Kisan-Majdoor Samagam.
