  • Government announces additional subsidy amount for fertilizers

    Indian government has announced the subsidy amount to keep the cost of fertilizers to farmers in control. Additional Rs 9,125 crores for DAP and Rs 5,650 crores for NPK based fertilizer have been announced. These are additional amount to Rs 80,000 which the government keeps aside for fertilizer subsidies. If the fertilizer companies make unreasonable profit the government intends to take action.

  • Honey Testing lab at IARI, Pusa

    Honey and other beekeeping products quality testing lab at IARI, Pusa has been announced by the Union Agriculture minister. A lab at NDDB, for the same purpose has been setup at the cost of Rs 5 crores. Two more such labs will be setup in India costing Rs 8 Crore each.

  • Life slightly expensive for Agricultural labourers

    Food and fuel were slightly expensive for the agricultural and rural labourers in the Indian countryside, this April. This price rise was highest in West Bengal.

  • Centre has supplied 21 crore vaccines to states

    Central government has announced that it has supplied 21 crore COVID vaccines to the states free of cost. Over 19 crore of these vaccines have been administered and these states have over 2 crore vaccines with them for further use.

  • Online meet organized to attract buyers for Indian mangoes

    An online meet was organized with Indian officials, Mango exporters and South Korean mango importers, to showcase the high-quality mangoes produced by India. India is already exporting mangoes to South Korea and expects this meet to make more South Koreans interested in them.

  • Gujarat still under alert for heavy rainfall

    Some districts of Gujarat are still facing heavy rainfall, continuously for last few days. Parts of South West Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are also affected by heavy rain.

  • Mexico making good on its climate control promises

    Mexican cities are making every effort to meet its pollution targets and avoid the climate change they cause. Some of the cities are way ahead of the capital Mexico City where those who can afford are installing solar panels.

  • Suspected human rights abuses in Xinjiang

    Major Japanese apparel manufacturers have severed their connections with Xinjiang over suspected human rights abuses. Xinjiang provided the cotton to these manufacturers but campaigns from human rights groups gave made these big companies take notice of the matter.
