Mangroves in Kerala’s Puthuvypeen Losing Ground to Rampant Urbanisation

Space Applications Centre (SAC-ISRO) and Kerela University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) conducted a joint operation in which an abrupt decline of 42 percent is being observed in Mangrove ecosystem in district Ernakulam, and a major decrease is seen in Puthuvypeen near Kochi. The reason behind this is a large-scale development project in the area.
FSSAI Issues Spot Memo After Complaints of Unhygienic Practices at Bangalore Dominos

After receiving complaints about potentially unhygienic procedures being used at a Domino's shop in Bengaluru, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued a spot memo to food business operators. A response to the "unhygienic food handling practices of outlet stated in the complaint" is requested in the spot note. On the basis of inspection observations, improvement notices were also sent, requiring compliance within 15 days.
NDDB Signs MoU with Ladakh Administration & LAHDC to Manage Ladakh Milk Federation

National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) signed a tripartite MoU with Union Territory of Ladakh and Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) by which it will manage the entire operations of Ladakh Milk Federation for a period of five years and implement a structured dairy development programme in the region. The MoU was signed in the gracious presence of Radha Krishna Mathur, Lt.
