Basti Farmers turn to Fruitful agriculture because of Indo-Israel center
The Indo-Israel center distanced 200 meters away the Basti-Gorakhpur highway, is helping farmers to increase their incomes and has also started working on various commercial projects. The centre was established in the year 2018, with the initial budget of Rs. 7.5 crore. The centre aimed to introduce Israel technological agricultural practices to the farmers.

Even Having good market value of Potato could not bring famer’s Profit
Despite having good market value, the farmers in Punjab were not happy to low potato yielding. Last week, the seed value of Potato has increased from Rs. 1000-1200 per quintal to Rs.1700-2000. The table potato prices have also increased from Rs.700 to Rs.800 recently. Although the increased market value does bring some satisfaction to the farmers, however they cannot make the most out of it.
