  • IMD: Delhi’s Air Quality Be In Poor Category Till Nov 4

    On 1st November (Monday), the India Meteorological Department, the Air quality of the National Capital is expected to be in a poor category till 4th November, but it is expected to plunge to a very poor category after Diwali. The weather departments have also said that the minimum temperature will remain between 13 to 15 degrees celsius for the next 3 days.

  • The Price of LPG Hike By Rs 266

    The price of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cooking gas was hiked by Rs 266 from 1st November (Monday) onwards. The commercial cylinders of 19kg in the National Capital will cost Rs 2000.50 from 1st November (Monday) onwards, which was costing Rs 1734 earlier. However, in relief to the household consumers, no increases were announced in the price of domestic LPG Cylinder yet.

  • Crop Insurance Claims Rs 9,570 cr Lower By 60%

    There have been a more than 60% decline in crop insurance claims of farmers at Rs 9,570 crore under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) for 2020-2021 crop years from the previous year as there were no major crop losses. However, much of the crop insurance claims reported for the 2020-2021 & 2019-2020 crop years have been cleared by the government. The crop insurance claims have stood at s 27,398 crores in the 2019-2020 crop year (July-June).

  • Indian Railways Adds 5 More Pairs of Fully Reserved Festive Special Trains

    For the convenience of passengers & with a view to meet travel demand during the festive season. The Indian Railways’ Western Railways (WR) zone, has decided to run five more pairs of fully reserved festival special trains on a special fare from Bandra Terminus to Bhuj, Bhavnagar Terminus, Okha & Bikaner.
