  • PMKSNY: How to Link Your Aadhaar Number with PM Kisan Yojana?

    Currently, more than 10 crore farmers in the country are waiting for the next installment of PM Kisan, a scheme that was launched by the Government of India on 24 February 2019, to help farmers. The scheme provides financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 per year to the farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each.

  • Women Dairy Farmers Seek Help & Consideration From Rajasthan CM

    Representing over 1.7 lakh milk farmers of Rajasthan at World Dairy Summit 2022, women Chairpersons of four milk producer organizations said, “While on one hand we are applauded by Hon’ble Prime Minister and global experts, on the other end, we are deeply distressed by the discriminatory treatment and denial in the state government’s financial support scheme given to the co-operatives.”

  • GADVASU to Organize' Pashu Palan Mela’ on 23-24 September

    Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana will organize two days Pashu Palan Mela on September 23 & 24. Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director of Extension Education, GADVASU said that this mela is being held in physical mode after a gap of three years due to COVID – 19 restrictions. There is huge interest among the farmers to participate in this mela as evident from queries of farmers.

  • AIKGA Organizes Two-Day Horticulture Event in New Delhi

    All India Kitchen Garden Association (AIKGA) organized a two-day multi-colored event at Gulmohar Park in New Delhi on 17th and 18th September 2022. The event was a vibrant show of various organically grown horticulture plants which attracted visitors and participants from all over the nation.

  • Good News For ICAR Employees

    In a visit to the ICAR-NDRI, Dr. Himanshu Pathak, recently appointed Director General of the ICAR in New Delhi and Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, announced that all ICAR institutes will begin operating five days a week as of October 1.
