PM KISAN 17th Installment: Rs 20,000 Crores Disbursed to Over 9.26 Cr. Farmers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the PM-KISAN 17th instalment on 18th June 2024 at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh in which more than 9.26 Cr. farmers received the benefits amounting to over Rs.20,000 crore. The Prime Minister will also distribute the certificates to more than 30,000 SHGs trained as Krishi Sakhis to work as para extension workers.

NEET PG 2024 Admit Card to be Released Soon; Direct Link to Download Inside
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is set to release the NEET PG admit card today, June 18, 2024. This announcement is significant for Indian medical graduates who are getting ready to sit for the NEET PG 2024 exam, which determines their eligibility for postgraduate medical programs. Candidates who have registered for the NEET PG exam can obtain their admit cards from the official website of NBE – natboard.edu.in. To download the admit card, aspirants will need their login credentials, including user ID and password, readily available.

PAU Experts Urges Farmers to Adopt Water-Saving Rice Cultivation Techniques
Experts from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) have encouraged farmers to implement climate-smart water-saving measures in rice growing to protect Punjab's water supplies for future generations. The call to action includes avoiding long-duration rice varieties, planting 'PR' varieties after June 20, using irrigation water judiciously, and implementing Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) under moist soil conditions.
