ICL recently released its ESG report
ICL has recently released its ESG report & it has gotten €250 million maintainability connected credit! This credit is another step in the right direction in progressing the maintainability venture and incorporates three execution targets. In UN Global Compact drive: ICL's President and CEO, Raviv Zoller, marked the UN Global Compact, a program started by the UN to prepare organizations overall to adjust their procedures to ten general standards in the space of HumanRights, work, the climate, and hostile to defilement. Ambuja Cement Foundation Trained Over 88,000 Youth in 10 States under Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Institutes Initiative
Ambuja Cement Foundation (ACF) has imparted skill training to over 88,000 youth from rural and semi-urban areas across 10 States of India, with a placement rate of 76 percent, with the goal of assisting India's young generation in obtaining job-relevant skills and livelihoods, SEDI is a one-of-a-kind skilling initiative that focuses on creating sustainable livelihoods for rural youth by preparing them for industry through hands-on vocational training.

Agtech startup GoMicro has built a $1 microscope
South Australian agtech startup GoMicro is hoping to tackle the $1 trillion problem with an app-based device that costs just $1 to produce and attaches to a smartphone. GoMicro CEO and founder Dr Sivam Krish has developed GoMicro’s Spotcheck App and a phone attachable magnifier designed for accurately assessing the level of ripeness or spoilage of fresh foods.

e-NAM platform linked to private agri-services providers 17.6 million Farmers to get access a host of services
Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar formally launched the e-NAM platform-of-platforms by stating that this would give a boost to online trade and ensure better price discovery by the platform. SFAC is aiming at bringing on board as many players so that farmers have the choice to take agri-services after registering with e-NAM portal. Prasanna Rao, co-founder and CEO, Arya.ag, an agri-fintech platform said Integration of our embedded fintech platform with eNAM will enable access to finance for historically excluded small farmers and strengthen them socioeconomically,”

ICAR study shows a 125-272% increase in farmers’ incomes in four years
Indian Council of Agricultural Research the total income of farmers increased in the range of 125-272 percent, while states such as Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh recorded an increase of more than 200 percent in four years. ICAR agriculture scientist said “The results reaffirm the fact that doubling farmers’ incomes is possible in agricultural sectors, across the country, regardless of land size. Science and technology driven income enhancement is a reality and can be achieved across the country with the necessary administrative and policy support,”

KVIC Launches Knowledge Portal for Khadi to Assist Khadi Institutions.
Knowledge Portal for Khadi is a platform created by the Center of Excellence for Khadi to provide design guidance to Khadi institutions. Preeta Verma, CEO-KVIC, launched the portal on July 14, 2022. KVIC, Ministry of MSME, and NIFT have established the Khadi Center of Excellence to support Khadi Institutions. Knowledge Portal for Khadi aims to disseminate design knowledge to a larger group of Khadi institutions.

National Federation of State Co-operative Banks Ltd. (NAFSCOB) chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao has urged the banks to motivate unemployed graduates into taking up Agri Clinics and Agri Business Centres schemes of the union government through NABARD, Speaking further Rao said agriculture had changed into a business and farmers desperately needed extension services. On his remarks Rao said Nabard’s scheme could go a long way in encouraging rural development. A large number of prominent people participated in the workshop.
