• EPFO extends the deadline to link Aadhaar

  The retirement fund body extends the deadline of the PF returns with Aadhaar-verified universal account numbers till September 1, 2021, as this will give more time to employers to link their Aadhaar number with UAN. The previous date was June 15.

   

• India exported GI certified Jalgaon Banana to Dubai

  The banana export of India has been rising in both value as well as volume. India has exported twenty-two metric tonnes of the geographical indications certified Jalgaon Banana to Dubai, and the Jalgaon bananas are directly procured from the progressive farmers of Tandalwadi village, Jalgaon district.

• 12 crore Farmers benefited from the PM Kisan Yojana so far

  According to the Ministry of Agriculture Data, around 12 crore farmers have benefitted from the PM Kisan scheme so far. Also, the government of India has decided to take strict action against the fake or ineligible beneficiaries.

• Seed Industries are branding their products

  The Executive Director of Seeds Industries, SB Wankhede says that the seeds companies have started branding their products as the names of popular film characters and deities, he says that names of the seeds play a vital role and it will draw the attention of farmers.

• Heavy rain fall continues over Eastern parts of the country

  As the low-pressure area formed from north Bay-of-Bengal moved to the West Northwest-Direction and is lying to Eastern parts of UP. It is now extending from Punjab to north Bay-of-Bengal and it is the reason for heavy rain fall over the eastern parts of the country.

   

• No pre-registration required for Co-Win vaccine

  The Union Health Ministry said that the pre online registration for Covid-19 Vaccination is not mandatory anymore. People who are between 18 to 44 years and are eligible for the vaccine, can directly visit their nearest vaccination center and can do the on-site registration, to get their vaccination done. This is also known as the “walk-ins”.
