  • Telangana Rain Live Update: IMD issued Orange Alert for 16th to 17th July

    The India Meteorological Department issued two-day weather warning from 16th to 17th July in Telangana. According to IMD’s forecast, heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Narayanpet, Mahabubnagar, Vikarabad, Jogulamba Gadwal, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Suryapet Yadadgri Bhaavangiri, Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda. A ‘heavy rain’ prediction was made for the districts of Warangal, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Medak, Mahabubabad, Siddipet, Sangareddy, and Kamareddy.

  • India’s first Grain ATM “Annapurti” in Gurugram

    The Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, Dushyant Chautala announced that Haryana Government is launching country’s first food grain ATM ‘Annapurti’, it is set up in Gurugram districts of Haryana. The main purpose of this ATM is to distribute grains at government run ration shops easy & hassle free.

  • Telangana CM: Distribution of Ration Card from 26th July 2021

    The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekhar Rao instructed State Civil Supplies department to distribute the new ration cards from 26th July 2021. The CM has instructed Ministers & MLAs in the assembly segments to distribute ration cards to more than 3,60,000 beneficiaries.

  • Agriculture Ministry: Horticulture production hits high record at 329.86 million tonnes

    According to second advance estimate of horticulture production released by the Ministry of Agriculture. India is expected to highest horticulture production of 329.86 million tonnes in the year 2020 to 2021, up by 2.93% in previous year. The increased production registered in Spices, Vegetables, Aromatic Crop & Medicinal.

  • India to seek fair WTO pact on Fish Subsidies

    On 15th July Thursday, India sought an equitable global agreement to end the harmful fish subsidies & told World Trade Organization that limiting the Special & Differential Treatment to poor & artisanal fishermen only, is not appropriate, affordable or acceptable and the sustainability-based approach for subsidies which contribute to overcapacity or overfishing is “unequal, unjust & unfair” because it would lead to capacity constraints for developing countries.

     

  • Haryana Police: 100 Farmers to face Sedition case

    The Haryana Police charged over 100 farmers with sedition after they allegedly attacked & damaged official vehicle of the Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa during the protest against the ruling party of state BJP - Jannayak Janata Party alliance & controversial news farm laws.

     

  • NABARD Recruitment 2021: 162 Assistant Manager & Manager Vacancies

    On 15th July Thursday, the National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Department issued notification for recruitment of Assistant Manager & Manager on Grade A & B posts. The applicants can apply online for 162 Assistant Manager & Manager vacancies, beginning from 17th July, 2021 and the last date to apply online is 7th August, 2021.
