IMD Predicts Intense Spell of Rains in these States
On 15th September (Wednesday) said that the intense spell of rainfall is likely over Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand & Gujarat till 16th of September. The weather department said that a fresh spell of heavy rain is likely over east India from the 18th of September. IMD also said that fairly widespread rainfall along with the isolated heavy rains likely over West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and East Uttar Pradesh & Gujarat from 15th to 17th September.

Demand for Agri-loans & storage facilities expects to go up
The demand for agricultural loans & the storage of facilities is expected to increase significantly in the ongoing Kharif season as the pandemic situation seems under control & the impact of erratic rains remains minimal said the Agri financing & warehousing companies. They expect strong growth in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Gujarat & Maharashtra from maize, bajra paddy, etc.

India extends the Import of Pulses
India has extended the window for the import of urad, tur & soy meal by 2 months till 31st December on the demand of a trade house. The trade houses were concerned about the shortage of vessels & containers, which increased the sailing time of cargo. The decision comes amid the uncertainty about quality, size & time of the arrival of standing Kharif crop due to the erratic weather.
