  • NAFED Procure 25,000 tonnes of Onion from Farmer Producer Organisations

    Nafed on 14th June 2020 said that it has procured 25,000 tonnes of onion from farmer producer organisations (FPOs), cooperatives & direct purchase centres till now at prevailing rates to create a buffer stock on behalf of the government. In 2019, Nafed had procured a total of 57,000 tonnes of onion from the 2018-19 rabi crop. This time the target is to obtain 1 lakh tonnes of important kitchen staple from the key producing states, it said.

  • Gujarat Board Announces Class 12th Arts and Commerce Result

    Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board or GSHSEB has announced the HSC Arts as well as Commerce streams Result 2020 on Monday (15th June). Students can check their GSEB HSC Arts, Commerce Result 2020 online @ gseb.org. They will have to enter their six-digit seat numbers on the login page to check the class 12th results. Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board had declared class 12th science exam results on 17th May.

  • Latest News: Gold Prices Sharply Fall Today

    Gold prices sharply fell in Indian markets on Monday, tracking a decline in international rates. On MCX, August gold futures dropped Rs. 600 to Rs. 46,755 / 10 gram, after a 0.12 percent slide in the last session. July silver futures declined Rs. 750 to Rs. 46,953, following a Rs. 900 slide last week. Physical demand of gold in India remained weak even though jewellery shops reopened, promoting dealers to offer discounts of up to $20 an ounce last week as against official domestic prices.

     

  • Indian Railways Update! All Train Services Suspended at Anand Vihar Railway Station 

    Indian Railway has suspended all train services at Delhi's important Anand Vihar railway station from today (June 15, 2020). Nothern Railways in a notification has informed that 5 pairs of trains have been shifted from Anand Vihar station to Delhi Junction till further notice.  

    The notification said, "It is notified for all concerned that for facilitating the placement of covid-19 isolation coaches at Anand Vihar Terminal, the terminal of 5 pairs of trains presently origination at Anand Vihar will be shifted to Delhi Junction Railway station from June 15, 2020." 

  • Coronavirus News: ICMR Recommends Use of Rapid Antigen Kits in Containment Zones 

    In the last 24 hours, India has recorded 11,502 new coronavirus cases. Now, taking the total number of infections in the country to 3,32,424 on today i.e. June 15. As per the Union health ministry, 9,520 people have died due to the deadly contagious virus disease. Currently, the country has 1,53,106 active cases, 1,69,797 have been cured/discharged and one has migrated.  

  • ALERT! This Scientist Claims Connection between Covid-19 Outbreak & Solar Eclipse  

    A scientist in Chennai has claimed the connection of covid-19 outbreak with December 26 solar eclipse. As per the scientist, the infection has broken out after a mutated particle interaction of the first neutron because of fission energy emitted after the solar eclipse. Dr KL Sundar Krishna, Nuclear and Earth Scientist told ANI, "Since December 2019, coronavirus has surfaced to perish our lives. As per my understanding, there is a planetary configuration with new alignment in the solar system after December 26, when the last solar eclipse occurred."
