  • Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to Inaugurate 7th India Water Impact Summit 2022 Today

    Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will inaugurate the 7th India Water Impact Summit (IWIS 2022), in presence of Bishweswar Tudu, Minister of State for Jal Shakti on Thursday. National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and Center for Ganga River Basin Management and Studies (cGanga) are organising the summit from December 15–17 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi to encourage the development of water and environmental infrastructure to safeguard rivers and other water bodies in India.

  • KVIC Distributed Footwear Manufacturing Machines & 200 B-Boxes in Barabanki, Agra

    On December 13, 2022, Manoj Kumar, Chairman, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Government of India, distributed footwear manufacturing machines under the Leather Pilot Project in Agra district and honey bee boxes under the 'Village Industry Development Scheme' in Barabanki Janpad via digital mode. The beneficiaries received five days of training from two self-help groups in the Barabanki District, "Vaishnav and Gyan," and were given 200 bee boxes and tool kits as part of the Honey Mission today.

  • “India is Confident of Achieving Textile Export Target of USD 100 billion by 2030”: Piyush Goyal

    On Wednesday Union Minister of Textiles, Piyush Goyal informed the press at the Kashi Tamil Samagam that “India is confident of achieving textile export target of USD 100 billion by 2030.” ‘My Sai My Pride’ festival called the ‘Viraasat’ is set to begin at JanPath Haat from 16 December. The festival will kick-start with 75 different kinds of handwoven sarees ranging from Banarasi, Kanjivaram, Paithani, Patola and many more. Weavers from all over the country will take part and display their sarees at the JanPath Haat for the ‘Viraasat’ exhibition.

  • Rajasthan Government to Provide Smartphones to 1.35 Crore Women

    On December 17, the Rajasthan government led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will be completing its four years. Various programmes including exhibitions will be conducted at various locations across the state. The free smartphone program, regarded as one of the Gehlot government's visionary initiatives, may also be introduced. Around 1.35 crore women in Rajasthan will be eligible to take benefit of this free smartphone scheme. According to government sources, Rahul Gandhi, ex-president of Congress may launch the scheme on December 18 from Sikandra in Dausa. This program was originally scheduled to start in November, but it was delayed because of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and a political dispute in Congress. Rahul Gandhi, ex-president of Congress, can now start this plan.

  • PM Kisan: Over 3 Lakh Farmers Haven’t Verified Land Records; May Not Get 13th Installment

    PM Kisan Latest Update: Reports claim that many farmers in Haryana have not yet verified their land records. It must be noted that the Haryana government had asked all the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the state to get their land record verified by concerned officials. Out of the total 19 lakhs farmers registered under PM Kisan scheme, 3.36 lakhs have not got the land details verified. In this regard, the local Agriculture Department offices in every district of Haryana conducted public awareness programmes and camps to disseminate government’s order. Sources told media that many among these farmers might not be eligible for the scheme but still taking the monetary assistance. Now the government has strictly asked them not to take upcoming instalment, which could be released soon.
