  • Raja Parba Begins with Full Swing in Odisha

    Odisha, which is called as the land of Lord Jagannath, celebrates thirteen festivals in twelve months, meaning the state celebrates many festivals throughout the year. Amongst all, an important festival is Raja Parba that is celebrated for 3 days during the mid of June, preferably begins from 14th June and ends in 16th. During Raja Parba, Odisha remains in a state of jubilation & celebration.

    Prime Minister, Narendra Modi also greeted people on the occasion of Raja Parba.

  • Inspection of all COVID-19 Hospitals in Delhi by a Joint Team, Orders Amit Shah 

    On Sunday, The Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that a joint team of Centre and Delhi Govt. will check and inspect Delhi’s health systems amid continuous surging of Coronavirus cases. In a tweet, Amit Shah said ““A joint team of doctors of health department of government of India, Delhi health department, AIIMS and the three municipal corporations of Delhi will visit all Covid-19 hospitals in Delhi and inspect the health systems and preparedness to fight the disease and prepare a report.” 

  • Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput commits suicide at Mumbai home 

    Famous television face and Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his home in Mumbai early morning. The twitter and social media has flooded with condolence messages after the 34 year actor’s shocking suicide news revealed in media. 

    As per reports, Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra home early this morning. The body was discovered by his friends after breaking the door. The noted Bollywood actor was found hanging and the police say that he was suffering from depression for the past six months. His friends also told media that the reason behind this extreme step is depression. No suicidal note has been recovered yet. 

     

  • Army jawan killed in J&K, 2 injured in Pakistani firing  

    In midst of the corona horror, an Army personnel was reported to be killed and two others injured in Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir after Pakistani troops opened fire and resorted to shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) ,officials said on Sunday. 

     

     

  • Monsoon 2020 Covers Entire State of Maharashtra

    The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday said that four days after hitting coastal Maharashtra, southwest monsoon has made a steady progress and has now covered the whole state. So far, the progress of the monsoon has been quite normal and it is on the expected lines, according to an IMD official.
