As per the recent reports, Bharat Biotech has started human trials on its vaccine candidate, ‘Covaxin’. Covaxin, being developed by the Hyderabad-based biotech company and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is India’s first indigenous COVID-19 vaccine.

  • TCS plans to hire 40,000 freshers in India campus amid Coronavirus Crisis

    Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is planning to hire as many as 40,000 freshers in India campus amid coronavirus crisis. The move comes despite a sharp drop in revenue in the quarter ended June on account, says reports. The company, India's biggest IT exporter, is also considering to double its US campus hiring to nearly 2,000 this fiscal.

    Our key strategy for building the bottom doesn't change. The 40,000 (in India) might become 35,000 or 45,000 -- that's a tactical call we will make," TCS EVP and global HRD head Milind Lakkad said.

    Amid the Indo-Nepal border dispute issue, Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli claimed that Hindu deity Lord Ram was actually born in Ayodhya village of Nepal and he is a Nepali not Indian. Speaking during a programme at his official residence, Oli said that Lord Ram is Nepali, not Indian.
