  • SBI Launches YONO Krishi review to empower farmers in India

    The State Bank of India (SBI), country’s largest lender has continued to empower its farmer customers by providing them technology backed agri solutions with the YONO Krishi. In the present crisis due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic, State Bank of India is ready to make the lives of its farmer customers easier by introducing the KCC Review option on the YONO Krishi. With this new feature, farmers will not have to travel long distances to visit the bank to apply for a revision in their KCC limit.

    The KCC Review option available on YONO Krishi would help farmers apply for the same in only 4 clicks from the comfort of their homes without any paperwork.

  • Mumbai, Gujarat, Goa to Receive Heavy Rainfall: IMD

    The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy rain alert for isolated places in Mumbai, Palghar and Thane for the next two days. IMD said Ratnagiri, Raigad and Sindhudurg districts have been put on orange alert with prediction of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places till 17th August 2020.

    According to weather department, several parts of western as well as central India are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall during the next 4-5 days. This will include Goa, Konkan, Gujarat & ghat areas of central Maharashtra.

  • Covid-19 Latest News: 23 Senior Officials in Kerala test Coronavirus positive

    As per latest reports, two senior officers of Malappuram district, collector & police superintendent, have tested positive for Covid-19 along with 21 other officials that includes Malappuram sub collector. Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala chief minister and Loknath Behra, Director General of police (DGP), who visited the accident spot with Governor of Kerala the next day, have been quarantined.
