  • Over 20 lakh doses administered in a day

    India is fighting corona tooth and nail. More than 20 Lakh anti-Corona doses were administered to population all over the country yesterday. So far 2.82 Crore  doses have been administered in almost 5 Lakh sessions.

  • Prime Minister talks about ayurvedic medicine and food

    He talked about how ayurveda will help in wellness tourism. Corona pandemic has made ayurvedic medicine and lifestyle even more popular in India. He said new start ups should consider ayurvedic ingredients for their business. He said that he believes that ayurveda will bring prosperity to India. PM made these comments while addressing the audience at Global Ayurveda Festival. This virtual festival which started yesterday will continue till 19th of March.

  • India 5th in Solar power capacity

    India stands at the 5th position in its solar energy capacity and 4th in renewable energy capacity. Government has again mentioned its commitment toward renewable energy especially in the MSME sector. Energy from renewable sources is much cheaper than energy from non-renewable sources. Government has set ambitious targets for this decade for energy generated through renewable sources.

  • Protesting farmers leaders claim Opposition support not enough

    The leaders of the farmers agitation have said that the support opposition parties are showing for their cause is not enough. They claim that that the opposition parties have been subdued by the  aggressive Modi Government. Opposition getting intimidated by the government is hard to believe but this is the view of the agitating farmers.

  • USA expects to produce more wheat with the current weather forecast

    There are rain forecasts in wheat growing regions of USA. This will help in increasing the production, but increased production will lower the price at which the farmers will have to sell their wheat.

  • New laws on social media curb Freedom of Speech

    International media observers have claimed that India's new IT laws will curb the right to freedom of speech in the democracy. These laws will affect the way people express themselves online. These laws give authorities the power to withdraw any content they dislike from the virtual domain. Government has said that these laws will bring more responsibility in the way comments are made online.

  • India signals British Parliament not to discuss farmers protests

    Indian government called the British Envoy to update that the  British Parliament should not discuss the farmers protest as it is an internal matter for India. The NRI community in UK particularly from Punjab and Haryana are trying to gather support for their protesting brothers in India.

  • Why are the national flights Corona tests have to be paid for?

    All international passengers flying from the International Airports are tested for Corona free of cost, at least from IGI Airport. However there are reports in the National media that some Airlines are charging money to test the passengers. Why is this happening? Indian government and airport authorities should make sure that passengers on National flights are also tested free of cost.

  • Malaysia increases its factory output by 1.2%

    Despite the corona pandemic and all the lockdowns it has caused Malaysia has succeeded in increasing its factory output. This output has increased even after all the precautionary measures have been followed by these factory workers.
