Look for Early Signs": New Protocols for Patients Recovering From Covid-19
In a set of fresh guidelines, the Health Ministry has recommended physical exercise and taking prescribed immunity boosting medicines after recovery. After acute COVID-19 illness, the patients who have recovered may continue to report symptoms such as fatigue, body ache, cough, sore throat and difficulty in breathing, the Union Health Ministry said.
The Union Health Ministry has said a “holistic approach is required for follow up care & well-being of all post-COVID recovering patients”.

Weather Forecast: Heavy rain Likely within next five days, Monsoon likely to leave North India late by 15 days
The Indian Meteorological Department on Saturday issued a warning of heavy rain in various areas of the country, including eastern Uttar Pradesh for the next 5 days. On the other hand, private weather agency Skymet has also said that due to the formation of low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, a system of new monsoon winds could be formed during the next 24 hours. Due to this system, the monsoon is expected to return 15-20 days late than its projected time.

Amit Shah Admitted for ‘complete medical checkup’ ahead of Parliament session: AIIMS
Ahead of Monsoon parliament session, Union Home Minister Amit Shah was admitted to Delhi AIIMS on Saturday for a “complete medical checkup” ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament from Monday. He will remain in hospital for 1-2 days, a statement issued by the medical institute said on Sunday.

Amid the coronavirus, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) - for admission to medical courses across the country - will be held today. States have announced special measures, including easing of restrictions and transportation. However, the conduct of the NEET amid the Covid pandemic was challenged by some students and opposition-ruled states, who argued that holding these exams at this time would endanger the lives of students.

Noida hospital refuses to admit Covid-19 positive teacher
An Anganwadi teacher from Noida was allegedly refused admission by a hospital. The teacher who was rushed to a hospital after she got tested positive for coronavirus. The woman had been diagnosed with typhoid. The teacher started having bouts of fever, after which she went to the Felix Hospital for a medical checkup.
