China suspends import of frozen seafood from 6 Indian firms after Covid traces found on packaging
China has suspended import of frozen seafood products from 6 Indian marine export firms for a week. The decision comes after Chinese customs claimed they found traces of Covid-19 on the packaging. China has been testing imported frozen food products from all over the globe since early last year.

IIT Bombay announces launch of “Centre for Digital Health”
Under the aegis of the Koita Foundation, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has set up 'Koita Centre for Digital Health' (KCDH). KCDH will be focusing on driving the academic programmes, research & industry collaboration in Digital Health and it’s academic and research focus areas include clinical applications healthcare data management, healthcare analytics, healthcare AI/ML, consumer health, public health and public policy.

Prices of petrol & diesel touches new highs in Rajasthan
In Rajasthan, Petrol price has increased by Rs 5.72 per litre and diesel price by Rs 6.25 per litre. This is the 23rd hike since May 4, Fuel prices are hitting new highs, across the country to new historic highs and it led the Karnataka to become the 7th state to record Rs 100 per litre petrol.

Farmer unions extend support and protest over death of kabbadi coach Harwinder Singh
Farmer unions have extended their support to the family of kabbadi coach Harwinder Singh, who succumbed to injuries, during a clash on 26 May. Members of BKU Dakaunda and 11-member committee from Chauka village has been formed to talk to the police. Villagers from Chauka continued their dharna on the Bathinda- Chandigarh highway for the second day.

The farmers union announced that they will organize dharnas at governor houses across the country on 26th June 2021, to mark seven months completion of their protest against three new central Agri-marketing laws. The union said that they will show the black flags during their protest and will send the memorandums to President Ram Nath Kovind.
