Indian Cotton Brand Kasturi can help CCI Increase Exports: Experts
The first national brand of Indian cotton, Kasturi can obtain at least a 5 percent price premium, accordring to industry experts. With private trade not willing to purchase cotton at the minimum support price (MSP), the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) has to step in as the biggest purchaser, accounting for a third of the total national production. The experts believe that cotton branding can help CCI increase the exports.
