  • Weather Update: IMD warns about severe heatwaves in these regions

    On March 12, Saturday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted extreme heatwave conditions in various states, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Odisha, for the next few days.  The Eastern and Midwestern regions of India are also likely to have risen temperatures.

  • According to AAR, GST on Poultry Crates is 18 percent

    The Maharashtra Authority of Advance Ruling (AAR), which includes Rajiv Mangoo and T.R. Ramnani, has decided that chicken crates are subject to GST at a rate of 18 percent since they are "items for the conveyance or packing of products or plastics."

  • LULU Hypermarkets will begin a trial of obtaining ginger from Assam

    Shippers from Dubai, Bangladesh, Oman, the Netherlands, Srilanka, and Greece saw a wide selection of agricultural and horticulture products from across Assam.Due to the positive technique of the Assam government and APEDA, Zulfikar, Director of the LULU group of hypermarkets, stated that the group has decided to begin trials of sourcing ginger from Assam. The group stated that they will begin trials of 150 Million tonnes of ginger sourced from Assam within the next couple of weeks.
