  • Agri Minister Tage Taki Explores Oil Palm Cultivation During Indonesia Tour

    Agriculture Minister Tage Taki headed a state delegation that embarked on a research trip to Indonesia and visited PT SOCFIN, a leading oil palm and rubber plantation company in the archipelago known for its exceptional plantation development techniques. The team toured the DNA laboratory and tissue culture and seed production centre at Sofindo. Additionally, they learned about effective nursery management, the process of harvesting oil palm, identifying immature palms, and optimal farming practices, such as planting, manuring, replanting, and composting, among others.

  • Dhanuka Group Chairman Advocates Integration of Technology in Agriculture to Empower Farmers

    Dhanuka Group Chairman, R G Agarwal, emphatically called for the fusion of technology in agriculture. He highlighted the immense potential of drones and artificial intelligence to boost crop yield, cut costs, and uplift farmers' incomes. Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. hosted a media event at Le Meridien, New Delhi, centred around the theme of Futuristic Technologies in Agriculture—A Game Changer for the Indian Economy. The event was attended by the Dhanuka’s top officials as well as by the group chairman RG Agarwal.  During the event, Dhanuka's founder highlighted the crucial role that technology plays in addressing the challenges faced by farmers and emphasized the need for sustainable and efficient farming practices. 

  • Dhanuka Agritech Limited Unveils New Products and Brand at Kohinoor Distributor Meet

    During the meet, Dhanuka Agritech Limited launched two new herbicides, six biological products, and one Chilli Insecticide, which are expected to help farmers increase their yield and protect their crops from pests and diseases. Dhanuka Agritech Limited organized a distributor meet for Kohinoor partners in Uttarakhand's Jim Corbett National Park. The event witnessed around 125 attendees from Uttar Pradesh.

  • ADAFSA Partners with Hub71 to Foster Agri-Tech Advancements

    Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) have signed an agreement with Hub71, the global digital ecosystem of Abu Dhabi, to expedite the implementation of advanced technologies in the agricultural sector. The collaboration aims to bring together AgriTech industry players in a collaborative atmosphere and encourage them to develop cutting-edge agricultural, food safety, food security, and biosecurity technology.

  • Procurement of Sprouted Paddy in Andhra Pradesh’s Konaseema District Increased

    The Agriculture and Civil Supplies Departments in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district have ramped paddy field that was damaged due to heavy rainfall in the area recently. District Collector Himanshu Shukla told an English daily that at least 1,400 metric tonnes of paddy, which was sprouted due to the rainfall in the region, was procured in a single day. He also stated that the sprouted paddy would be processed in boiled rice mills and the government would provide free transportation for the damaged one.
