Rajasthan Making Provisions for Farmers' Prosperity Through Agri Budget: Ashok Gehlot
The Rajasthan government has made a historic decision to present a separate agriculture budget each year to provide maximum benefits to farmers, he said. Gehlot stated during a pre-budget dialogue with farmers, cattle rearers, dairy union office bearers, and tribal area representatives at the Chief Minister's Office that common people's suggestions are important for a democratic government. He stated that the state government will do everything possible to include all valuable suggestions in the agriculture budget. According to the chief minister, agriculture, animal husbandry, and allied sectors are the pillars of the state's GDP and economy.

More Than 6000 Farmers Receive Training Under Sustainable Castor Programme
Founded in May 2016 by Arkema, BASF, Jayant Agro Organics and implementation partner Solidaridad, Pragati aims to enable sustainable castor crop production by using good agricultural practices to increase yield and income. It also aims to promote efficient water use, maintain soil fertility, adopt good waste management practices, and enable better health and safety, among others. After six years, the programme has led to the production of over 50,000 tonnes of certified castor seed, a reduction of water consumption by approximately 30 percent in demo plots. Over 6,000 hectares are now being farmed under the SuCCESS sustainable castor code.

“Technology & Innovation can Help Boost Sustainability”: S. Niranjan Reddy at SmartAgri Summit
The summit primarily focused on policy intervention, sustainable farming, agriculture marketing, finance and insurance, and agriculture technology and start-ups. Agriculture Minister S. Niranjan Reddy addressed SmartAgri Summit in Hyderabad on Friday. Agriculture Minister S. Niranjan Reddy emphasised the importance of technology and innovation in achieving farm sector sustainability. The Minister said this while speaking at a SmartAgri Summit, emphasising how agriculture is a priority sector for the state and how achieving sustainability in the farm sector is critical.

Director Agriculture Kashmir Examines Functioning of Anantnag Department
Various centrally sponsored schemes (CSSs) being implemented by the department were discussed in detail during the meeting, including CAPEX, RKVY, MIDH, ATMA, NFSM, PM KISAN, Soil Health Card Scheme, KISAN Credit Card Scheme, and others. In his address to the meeting, the Director emphasised to the officers present that every penny allocated for the farmers of Kashmir Division under various centrally sponsored schemes must be used wisely for the welfare of farmers and the development of the farming sector in a timely manner. He stated that the funds designated for various components must be fully utilised. The Director directed the officers to solicit feedback from farmers on implementing various CSSs.
