• Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Flags Off MFOI VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra on Day 1 of Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2023

  Union Minister of Road Transport and Highway Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday, December 6, attended the last session of the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, organised by Krishi Jagran, a leading agri media house. Before leaving, the Union Minister also flagged off the road journey of MFOI VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra. "Farmers should think about reducing the expenditure per acre to reap the rightful price of their crop," Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said.

The mega agriculture event will continue uptil Friday, December 8, 2023. The Founder and editor-in-chief, MC Dominic, welcomed him saying, "We have organised this event for him." He and Shiny Dominic, Managing Director, have organised the mega agriculture event. 

• Vulnerability Assessment Reveals Climate Threat to Agriculture in 310 Districts Across India

  National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) has identified 310 districts across 28 states and Union territories (UTs) in India as highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change on agriculture. This information was disclosed by the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar, during a written reply in the Lok Sabha on December 5. Uttar Pradesh emerges as the most affected state, with 22 districts categorized as "very high" vulnerability and 26 districts as ‘highly’ vulnerable.
