Agriculture College in Bapatla Inaugurates New Organic Farming Lab

This momentous occasion was marked by the inauguration of a new organic farming lab in the college's cattle shed. The aim of the lab is to promote scientific thinking and innovation in the field of organic farming. The lab is equipped with "Do-it-yourself Kits" and specimens related to science, along with the principles and practices of organic farming. This lab will serve as a valuable resource for farmers to learn about organic farming methods and techniques.

IG International Joins Hands with Agrograde to Empower Fruit Producers Globally
IG International and Agrograde have agreed to form a joint venture, IG Agrograde (IG AG Agritech Pvt. Ltd.). The joint venture will provide clients with a variety of services, including fruit sales and leasing, as well as sorting and grading processes for the fresh fruit industry in India and around the world. The joint venture company's name will be IG Agrograde (IG AG Agritech Pvt. Ltd.), and its registered office will be in Mumbai.

IIT-Ropar Develops Air Nano Bubble Tech to Reduce Water Usage in Textile Sector
Textile is one of the most water-intensive industries, and there is a growing need to address the issue of managing water usage in the textile industry, which is associated with water contamination. We are inventing and incorporating new-age processing methods at IIT Ropar to conserve water for future generations, said Rajeev Ahuja, Director of IIT Ropar, in a statement.

Georgia Lawmakers Celebrate India's Decision to Reduce Tariffs on US Pecan Exports
On February 3, a group of Georgia lawmakers celebrated the Indian government's decision to reduce tariffs on US pecan exports by 70%. According to them, the move will benefit thousands of farmers and is significant for the American pecan industry. "Georgia produces nearly a third of America's pecans, and this announcement from the Indian government is welcome news that will expand global access to Georgia and further cement our state's status as a prime agriculture state," said the Senator, who chairs the Senate Agriculture Committee.
