    Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced a set of six pre-poll "guarantees" for farmers, including the waiver of agricultural loans, if the AAP was voted to power in Gujarat, as he ramped up campaigning for the BJP-ruled state's year-end Assembly elections. Kejriwal stated that if his party is elected, he will establish a mechanism to purchase farm produce from farmers at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).

  • CCRAS ‘SPARK’ Program to Support Innovative Research in Ayurveda

    The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) has developed the Studentship Program for Ayurveda Research Ken (SPARK) for Ayurveda (BAMS) students studying in recognised Ayurvedic colleges to support the research efforts of the country's bright young minds.

    Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India and Vaidya Jayant Yeshwant Deopujari, Chairman, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) launched the fellowship scheme and the application portal in the presence of Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Director-cum-Vice Chancellor In-Charge, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur and Prof. R.N. Acharya, Director General, CCRAS, Dr. Sulochana Bhatt, Director, CARI, Bengaluru, Dr. M.M.Rao, Director, CARI, Bhubaneswar and and Research Officers of the Instituteat Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Bhubaneswar on 2nd September 2022 in an event organized to mark the occasion.

  • Mizoram sends pineapples to Haryana

    Mizoram sent 15.7 metric tonnes of organic pineapples to Sonipat in Haryana on Thursday. Agriculture Minister C Lalrinsanga flagged off the shipment from Aizawl's Ch Saprawnga truck terminal. Tuichangral Organic FPC Limited harvested the pineapples in Mizoram's Khawzawl district. Mizoram exported fresh pineapples to Dubai and Bahrain last month.
